My audience is my peers, fellow college students who are currently seeking a job opportunity, whether it&amp;#8217;s full-time or an internship in their field. I decided to do this topic because I have heard many of my peers say they do not know what to wear to an interview or what questions they should ask when they are talking to their friends. Sometimes, they would get good advice, but sometimes they don&amp;#8217;t. I decided that this website would be a good tool because it would offer tips and information to help students prepare for their interview and hopefully help them land the job. Another reason I chose this topic was because for most majors it is a requirement to complete an internship prior to graduation, but also because it helps the student gain a job if they have experience. In my research, I learned that only 30.7% of students who graduate without an internship will be able to get a job offer where as 50% of students who graduate with at least one internship or work related experience will get a job offer. However, in order for students to possibly have this kind of success they need to successfully prepare for the job interview. My website gives students tips including how to dress for an interview with examples and how to write a thank you letter to help them prepare. I believe that if students viewed my website, they will be less stressed about the interview and will be able to show their personalities to the employer in positivity to land the job or internship of their choosing.&lt;/p&gt;</description><link>http://learndreamwearver.tumblr.com/post/22708147193</link><guid>http://learndreamwearver.tumblr.com/post/22708147193</guid><pubDate>Wed, 09 May 2012 04:57:10 -0400</pubDate><category>Final Project</category><category>assignment</category><category>How To Prepare for a Interview</category><category>write up</category><category>Dreamweaver</category><category>Adobe</category><category>ENGL385</category></item><item><title>Tutorial # 9: Add a Video from Your Computer to Dreamweaver

&lt;p&gt;1. Open a new page and click on Insert&gt;Media&gt;Plugin.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. In the menu, go to your videos and select the video you want to upload and hit choose. It will prompt you save it in your root folder say ok. (Also, create a video folder if you do not have one already.)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. Now, your video appears as a puzzle piece. Resize your video. For my video I did 675 by 475. I made it this big because I added the controls to it and the video has to be a bit larger for the controls to show up.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4. Now click on the Parameters button. This area controls the video. You can make the video autoplay, show the controls, loop, and more. I made the  video autoplay and show the controls but did not want the loop.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;5. Save your page as videocomputer.html and preview it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Your video should come up. Happy Viewing!&lt;/p&gt;</description><link>http://learndreamwearver.tumblr.com/post/22707888164</link><guid>http://learndreamwearver.tumblr.com/post/22707888164</guid><pubDate>Wed, 09 May 2012 04:42:55 -0400</pubDate><category>Dreamweaver</category><category>Adobe</category><category>add video</category><category>computer</category></item><item><title>Tutorial # 8: How to Wrap Text Around an Image

&lt;p&gt;1.Open a new page or a page that has the text you want to add the picture.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. Select the insert tab from Dreamweaver’s menu and select image.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. Find the image you want to add and hit ok.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4. Since the image I selected is not in the root folder, it’s prompting me to save it in the root folder. Click yes to the pop ups and save it in the root folder.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;5. Create your images folder if you do not have one.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;6. Now, the image shows up on your page. At the bottom of the Dreamweaver outerface, you see that the settings have changed. There are options to change the size and Photoshop options have been added.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;7. In the bottom right hand side, you are going to see align. Click that and change it to any of the options. For this tutorial, I used the right alignment and adjusted my picture for it to fit with the text.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;8. Save the frame and preview.&lt;/p&gt;</description><link>http://learndreamwearver.tumblr.com/post/22706367460</link><guid>http://learndreamwearver.tumblr.com/post/22706367460</guid><pubDate>Wed, 09 May 2012 03:25:00 -0400</pubDate><category>preview</category><category>dreamweaver</category><category>wrap text</category></item><item><title>Embed Video into Your Webpage:

&lt;p&gt;In this lesson, we are going to embed a video onto your webpage. We are briefly going to be using the split view in this tutorial to successfully embed the video.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1. Open a blank html page. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. Go onto your desired webpage (I used YouTube) and select a video you want to use.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. Click on the share button and embed. The embed code should come up. Copy the code.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4. Go back to Dreamweaver. In the coded side of the split view, or on the left hand side of the screen, paste the code where you want the video to show up. It will show up as a gray area in the design side or right side of the screen.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;5. At the bottom you can resize the video to make it bigger or smaller.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;6. Save the frame as video.html&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;7. Since we are building our website, you want to create a Video section on your page, hyperlink the video page and save all the frames. (Don’t forget to put the target for the page).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;8. Preview.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The video will come up and play.&lt;/p&gt;</description><link>http://learndreamwearver.tumblr.com/post/21239434914</link><guid>http://learndreamwearver.tumblr.com/post/21239434914</guid><pubDate>Thu, 12 Apr 2012 20:23:00 -0400</pubDate><category>video</category><category>embed</category><category>YouTube</category><category>Dreamweaver</category><category>my video</category><category>tutorial</category><category>Adobe</category><category>class assignment</category></item><item><title>Creating a Photo Gallery:

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;* In order to create a photo gallery to insert into Dreamweaver, you MUST have Adobe Bridge or have access to one.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1. Open Bridge and find your pictures folder.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. Select the pictures (MAC: Hold the Command key, Windows: Hold the Shift key) you want to have in the gallery. (Your pictures &lt;strong&gt;MUST&lt;/strong&gt; be in the same folder.)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. On the left hand side of Bridge, make sure Output (on top of the menu) is highlighted.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4. Select which ever template you want. For my demo, I used Left Filmstrip.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;5. Scroll down the left hand side of the screen and you will see there’s information to fill out about the gallery. You can fill it out if you want to. In this section, there’s an appearance area, where you can change the color and font of the gallery.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;6. Save the gallery in your website folder. It will be easier to find. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;7. To post the gallery in Dreamweaver, open a new .html page and save it as gallery.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;8. Highlight gallery and hyperlink it to your photo gallery that you created. You are using the .html option.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;9. Don’t forget to target the frame to the main so everyone can see it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;10. Save the frame and preview in your browser.&lt;/p&gt;</description><link>http://learndreamwearver.tumblr.com/post/21237031954</link><guid>http://learndreamwearver.tumblr.com/post/21237031954</guid><pubDate>Thu, 05 Apr 2012 19:48:00 -0400</pubDate><category>Adobe</category><category>Bridge</category><category>Dreamweaver</category><category>photo</category><category>gallery</category><category>create</category></item><item><title>Adding More than 1 Picture:

&lt;p&gt;First, you want to create a new blank HTML web page. Remember to change the background color to the color of your main page. (It’s under Page Properties on the bottom of the screen) Click on Insert and Picture. Your pictures folder on your computer will come up. Select the image that you want to input and hit ok. Some images that you add will be bigger than others. I decided to use 250x320 as the standard for all of my images. Once you changed the image size you can add your text on the side or the bottom of your page. Save the frame as picture.html (File, Save Frame). Bring up your main page (main.html) and highlight your Pictures option and link it to your picture.html page. Preview it and you should see your picture. Repeat the adding pictures portion to add other pictures to the page.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;To create a photo gallery, you must have Bridge to do so.&lt;/p&gt;</description><link>http://learndreamwearver.tumblr.com/post/21234639283</link><guid>http://learndreamwearver.tumblr.com/post/21234639283</guid><pubDate>Thu, 29 Mar 2012 19:11:00 -0400</pubDate><category>adding pictures</category><category>dreamweaver</category><category>class</category><category>assignment</category><category>more than 1</category><category>hello</category></item><item><title>Tutorial #4: Linking Website and Files

&lt;p&gt;First you highlight over the text and at the bottom of Dreamweaver, you will see “Link” in that box type in or paste in your web page. If you are typing it, be sure to include “http://” because it will not work other wise. Now that you put your link, you have to do your target. The target is how you want the webpage to open. Target your webpage into the mainframe. This will allow users to visit the websites within your website. You can also target it to a new page using “_new” which will open up a new browser.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Now to link a photo onto your webpage, you will highlight the text, and in the link button there’s a folder button and an bullseye button. If you have a pictures folder within your website, click the bullseye button and drag it to the picture that you would like to include. (Expand the picture folder to do this). However, if you don’t, simply click on the folder button and search for your photo. When you find the one you want to include click it and the link will show up in the link box. Lastly, save your frame by going into “File,” “Save Frame,” that way the changes can be made to your webpage. Preview it in the browser you choose and your picture and other websites will pop up when you click the links.&lt;/p&gt;</description><link>http://learndreamwearver.tumblr.com/post/18601842768</link><guid>http://learndreamwearver.tumblr.com/post/18601842768</guid><pubDate>Fri, 02 Mar 2012 05:49:41 -0500</pubDate><category>dreamweaver</category><category>photo</category><category>file</category><category>link</category><category>highlight</category><category>class</category><category>assignment</category></item><item><title>Tutorial #3:

&lt;p&gt;Today, we will be setting up the margins to our site and adding a background and text color and previewing it on the web.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Open a new webpage using one of the frame sets. Change the margins to your liking and save the frame set as “index.html”. (Remember, we mapped to the root folder in the last tutorial, so you shouldn’t have to look for the folder). As you are saving the pages, you will see your right hand side of the screen populate with them in the folder. In each section, write something and save them. The left one will be “left.html” and the middle one as the “main.html.” After you have done that, go to page properties at the bottom of the screen and there you can change your background and text color. Also, you can change your text size and font. Save the frames and preview your webpage by clicking the globe button and opening it in the browser you prefer.&lt;/p&gt;</description><link>http://learndreamwearver.tumblr.com/post/18179179618</link><guid>http://learndreamwearver.tumblr.com/post/18179179618</guid><pubDate>Fri, 24 Feb 2012 02:09:40 -0500</pubDate></item><item><title>Today, we are going to set up our site’s root folder to...</title><description>&lt;img src="http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lzisatEdNB1rpe9w7o1_500.png"/&gt;&lt;br/&gt; Setting up Your Site&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt; &lt;img src="http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lzisatEdNB1rpe9w7o2_500.png"/&gt;&lt;br/&gt; Click on Site; New Site&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt; &lt;img src="http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lzisatEdNB1rpe9w7o3_500.png"/&gt;&lt;br/&gt; &lt;br/&gt;&lt;img src="http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lzisatEdNB1rpe9w7o4_500.png"/&gt;&lt;br/&gt; Create a New Folder to Save your Files&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt; &lt;img src="http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lzisatEdNB1rpe9w7o5_500.png"/&gt;&lt;br/&gt; Save the Folder as Digital Media&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt; &lt;img src="http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lzisatEdNB1rpe9w7o6_500.png"/&gt;&lt;br/&gt; Link It as your Root Folder, hit save&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt; &lt;img src="http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lzisatEdNB1rpe9w7o7_500.png"/&gt;&lt;br/&gt; Show Up on the Left Hand Side&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt; &lt;p&gt;Today, we are going to set up our site’s root folder to save all of our files that we want to put on it.
