The topic for my final project is How to Prepare for a Interview. My audience is my peers, fellow college students who are currently seeking a job opportunity, whether it’s full-time or an internship in their field. I decided to do this topic because I have heard many of my peers say they do not know what to wear to an interview or what questions they should ask when they are talking to their friends. Sometimes, they would get good advice, but sometimes they don’t. I decided that this website would be a good tool because it would offer tips and information to help students prepare for their interview and hopefully help them land the job. Another reason I chose this topic was because for most majors it is a requirement to complete an internship prior to graduation, but also because it helps the student gain a job if they have experience. In my research, I learned that only 30.7% of students who graduate without an internship will be able to get a job offer where as 50% of students who graduate with at least one internship or work related experience will get a job offer. However, in order for students to possibly have this kind of success they need to successfully prepare for the job interview. My website gives students tips including how to dress for an interview with examples and how to write a thank you letter to help them prepare. I believe that if students viewed my website, they will be less stressed about the interview and will be able to show their personalities to the employer in positivity to land the job or internship of their choosing.

I am really excited about my new media and digital literacies class this semester. I am using tumblr to blog about my experience using an Adobe software. I havent decided on what software I want to use just yet but I am looking forward to posting about my journey for my classmates to learn about it too.
